3P Champion John Saintignon has already had an extraordinary life journey - on the basketball court as the country's leading scorer, as a professional coach in the US and many other countries - and in his personal life, the search for his biological family became an international story. A black belt in Karate and mentor to countless young men all over the world, John Saintignon's passion, purpose and principle could not be more evident and powerful. We are so happy to present him on the 3P Champions podcast.

3P Champion Danny Beard is a passionate and principled man, guided by his faith and purpose and has spent his life positively impacting youth and communities. Through hard work and determination, Danny overcame challenging times and surroundings as he became a basketball star in high school and then at Kansas State University (his KSU his teams twice made it to the Final 8). Danny then combined his passions for Basketball and Service by becoming a leader of one of the largest and most respected Basketball camps in the world. After more than 40 years as a revered Leader, Coach, and Mentor to thousands of young people, Danny now spends his time working at the Union Gospel Mission, serving those in need. We are so pleased and proud to present this exemplary human being.
 
 

Leon McGlaughlin is an extraordinary human being. From his shoe-shine stand in the busiest corporate building in Seattle, Leon conducts business on behalf of his Clean Water Foundation, now with his water purification "carts" spread across 35 water-challenged countries! He lives life with Passion, Purpose and Principle - and Joy! Give a listen - you'll feel better for it!

We quarantee you've never met anyone like 3P Champion Kevin Parker! A former self-proclaimed under-achiever in high school, Kevin ultimately attended Harvard, became a State Representative in Washington State, created a substantial coffee company, and established a significant ongoing foster care organization, and as you will hear, his entire life was informed by his having been visiting a student at Columbine High School on the day of that fateful attack. What a story, and what a guy!

3P Champion Jaci McCormack is unique and extraordinary. A member of the Nez Perce Indian Tribe, Jaci has an amazing story, which includes being the only Native American to be named 2-time basketball Player of the Year in Idaho. Her foundation, Rise Above, supported by many high level athletes and Hollywood people, is making great strides in helping Native American youth, and a major motion picture depicting Jaci's remarkable journey, is currently in pre-production. Her story, and her perspective, are not to be missed.

3P Champion Anthony Prior was "cut" by seven NFL teams before signing with the Minnesota Vikings. He went on to enjoy a distinguished NFL career, as well as a career in the CFL (Canadian Football League). He is now a youth speed coach, author of multiple books and a mentor on life, belief and the meaning of success.

The late Derek Sparks lived a meaningful life, which ended much too soon. As a child growing up in dirt poor Texas with only his mother, Derek became one of the premier HS running backs in the country, only to be taken advantage of by family, coaches, administrators, and others who believed they could profit from his abilities. This massive exploitation was documented in his book, “Lessons of the Game”. After a stellar career at Washington State University, Derek was injured during his tryout for the NFL, ending his football career. Determined to have a positive impact, Derek became an educator, motivational speaker, High School and College Football Coach, mentor, and philanthropist (he created two foundations - one for cancer (Cleats vs Cancer), and one for homeless youth (House of Champions). A glowing example of making the most of our time on Earth, Derek lived by the phrase, "WE ARE ALL CALLED."
